By | April 25, 2016

The Panasonic KX-PRX130W DECT 6.0 Plus Expandable Digital Cordless Answering System with Smartphone Connect is an innovative technology and modern design that is high in demand. The model features DECT6.0 advanced technology with WiFi capability and smartphone connections. Many reviews done on this Panasonic model have chosen this as the number one best phone system to own.

The handset has a nice large 2.2 in. backlit display, and some cool new functions, like the baby monitor, built right into this model. It is fast technology which is easy to integrate into your land-lines. Your smartphone is like an extension on this phone system. Visual voicemail is a real hit as a new feature.

The color of the phone is black and white. There has been a lot of confusion and disappointment with this issue. Some reviews show an entirely different model, while other photos reflect the color of the phone as black and silver.  The color is comparable to a penguin scheme. Most consumers wish Panasonic would manufacture this phone in a solid black. This design is not for everybody, but the technology is.

Wifi integration is an option over using the Bluetooth Technology as a way to integrate your phone. Exercise total control over telemarketers with Panasonic’s new method of call blocking.

The answering machine messages sound clear and this excellent sound quality extends to the speakerphone built into its handset as well. The hardware’s sound quality can also be helped along by optional noise reduction, clarity boosting technology and software-based voice equalizer technology built into the handset, all of which can be turned on or off as needed.

The phone is light but feels substantial in the hand. The features are very easy to use and navigate. It acts as a wifi extender and the smartphone app is pretty cool, and not as clunky as you would expect. When compared to wired landline phone and iPhone 5+, this has impressive sound quality.

This sweet phone system has the legendary Panasonic voice quality.  Panasonic is also notorious for a large range on their systems, this one doesn’t disappoint. One consumer has reported he is able to get a distance of over 100,000 square feet in a 180 degree radius. This is more than 3 times the range on other phones in this category.

Another key feature is the silent mode, so when you absolutely do not want to be bothered. This cordless phone system does not come with distinctive ring assignable to each phonebook entry or talking caller ID, for most people this is no big deal. Consumers who are savvy in technology will miss this feature.

Smartphone Connect app for downloading from iTunes store works great even with older iPod Touch 4 devices and the Panasonic KX-PRW130 landline phone. (Panasonic also has one for Android for users).

You can always count on a strong battery life with Panasonic phones; as well they are notorious for including extra batteries in their phone system packages. This particular model will set you back a wee bit more with a price tag of $94.54. If you just have to have the cool technology, this phone is only $20 more than a lesser phone system without the Wifi/smartphone capabilities; it is best to throw down those extra dollars for a system of this innovative quality.

The value exceeds the price on this one!
